Delivery Phase

Moving your Web site into the Production Environment
The fourth and final phase of the project lifecycle is the Delivery Phase. At this point in the project lifecycle you have signed off and accepted your web site's design, flow and functionality. It is now time to make your web site available to the general public via the World Wide Web.

Prior to beginning this phase you should have already selected and registered a Domain Name and you should also have an operational web host.

Sanity Testing
The complexity of your site will dictate the amount of effort required in sanity testing. If your web site utilizes application level functionality, it will take more time to test your site in its production environment. The Project Timeline will reflect the estimated time needed to get your web application up and running in the production environment. The Project Timeline will be accessible for review through your Client Login.

The Deliverables Package After your site is "Live" you will receive your Deliverables Package. The package includes a CD-ROM with the following items:

  • User Instructions for your site (if necessary).
  • Complete version of your website.
  • Any original art that is used on your site.
  • A style guide for your site.
