The third phase of the project lifecycle is the Development Phase. During this phase we will use the Project Design Document (PDD) from the Defining Phase as a guideline to build your web site. The Development Phase has two stages: The Prototype Stage and the Finished Product Stage. The Prototype Stage At this point in the project lifecycle we have already established the "Look and Feel" of your web site. During the Prototype stage we will use these design elements and the content that you have provided to build a functional prototype. The prototype may or may not have all the final graphical content in place. The main objective of the Prototype Stage is to review the flow, functionality and the content of your web site. Once the prototype is complete you will be required to participate in a User Acceptance Test (UAT). The prototype will be accessible for UAT through your Client Login. Any desired changes to flow, functionality or content should be brought to my attention during the prototype stage. The UAT process will repeat until you are satisfied with the flow, functionality and the content of the prototype. The Finished Product Stage Once the Prototype Stage is complete we will move to the Finished Product Stage. One last UAT is necessary as you review your final product. The Finished Product will be accessible for UAT through your Client Login. Please Note: You must have registered a Domain Name and have an operational web host before we can move to the Delivery Phase. |
