Funky Monkey Handbags started their business making unique handmade fabric-lined, denim purses. Shortly after they expanded their product lines to include a children's line.

The goal of the Funky Monkey Handbags website was to create an online gallery of their products as well as giving the customer the ability to create their own "purse-onalized" custom purse.

Lastly, Funky Monkey Handbags wanted to give their customers the ability to order their products online.

Long Leaf Designs worked closely with the owner to design the site and create a user experience that would meet the business needs of Funky Monkey Handbags.

The Funky Monkey Handbags homepage presents an easy path to the two main product lines as well as giving a show schedule and promotional offer space.

A large percentage of Funky Monkey Handbags business is generated by word of mouth. Therefore it was important to have a form for customers to request to be added to the new products mailing list on the homepage.

The design of the showcase for the designer purse collection offers a clean, uncluttered view of all the available purses, pricing and specification details as well as the ability to add monograms when available.

The showcase offers an enlarged view of each purse at the click of a button as well as a straight forward path to add a purse to the shopping cart.

Funky Monkey Handbags often receives requests to customize their unique purses so we created an interface for a customer to perform this task online.

The "Purse-onalize" a purse order flow allows the customers to customize a number of features:

Funky monkey handbags wanted the convenience of using Paypal to handle their transactions.

We built a custom shopping cart that allows the customer to view selected products, add, and remove products and know their final cost before placing the order.

The cart pushes the ordering information to Paypal where the transaction is finalized.
